当您安装AGP卡时,请注意下述注意事项. 您的显示卡若有AGP 4X/8X 防呆缺口(如下图),请再次确认此卡的规格为AGP 4X/8X(1.5V).
AGP 4X/8X 防呆缺口
不要使用AGP 2X 卡,因为VIA KT400晶片组不支援 AGP 2X(3.3V),若您使用AGP 2X (3.3V)卡时, 可能造成系统无法正常开机的情况,所以请使用AGP4X/8X(1.5V)卡. 范例一:Diamond Vipper V770 这块显示卡的金手指部份设计成2X/4X插槽皆可使用,透过Jumper可切换於2X或4X, 出厂预设值为2X(3.3V),若您使用此卡在 GA-7VAX/GA-7VAXP主机板上,而且没有将Jumper切换至 4X (1.5V)的模式时,可能造成系统无法正常开机的情况. 范例二:某些SiS 305及Power Color所生产的某些ATi Rage 128 Pro 等显示卡的金手指部份设计成2X/4X插槽皆可使用,但只支援2X(3.3V),若您使用此卡在 GA-7VAX/GA-7VAXP主机板上,可能造成系统无法正常开机的情况. 注意:技嘉科技所生产的AG32S(G)显示卡,虽然采用ATi Rage 128 Pro晶片,但此卡设计符合AGP4X(1.5V)的规格, 因此不会发生如范例二中可能造成系统无法正常开机的情况,请您安心使用. 当您在安装PCI设备前,若有发现PCI扩充槽上有Dual BIOS 贴纸,请先移除此贴纸.
