环保为公益 Greening for the Chest
「环保为公益」是公益金与教育局携手向青少年灌输环保讯息的筹款活动,多年来推动全港十八区公益少年团的 中,小学生积极参与清洁,植树及树木护理的活动,让他们学习爱惜大自然之余,同时为社会上有需要的人士 募集善款. 本年度, 「环保为公益」活动所筹得的所有善款,将拨作发展及改善公益金会员社会福利机构提供的「医疗及 社区健康服务」. "Greening for the Chest", jointly organised by The Community Chest and Education Bureau, aims to convey the message of environmental protection among the youth. Over the years, students from the 18 Districts Community Youth Clubs have been encouraged to take part in cleaning, planting and tree tendering in country parks, and at the same time, raise funds for the needy in Hong Kong. This year, the Chest will allocate all funds raised through "Greening for the Chest" to benet the Chest's member social welfare agencies which provide "Medical and Community Health Services".
