APPLICATION METHOD Following instructions are to obtain a 3mm screed floor. SEMPOL F100 can also be applied as coating and as multilayer screed of 6mm. For application method of these alternatives, please contact Bondtec for technical advice. First Phase: Shot blasting (or grit blasting) of the substrate to remove the laitence. Sweeping/vacuum cleaning to obtain a dust free surface. Second Phase: Mixing of components A and B of SEMPOL F100 in a mixing vessel until a homogeneous liquid is obtained. While mixing, add 5% of MEK solvent and keep mixing for another 3 minutes. Application by paint roller of the mixture, consumption 250 to 300 gr/sqm. Broadcasting of Quartz (0.8-1.2 mm) into the wet priming coat, 300 gr/sqm (overnight curing). Third Phase: Mixing of components A and B of SEMPOL F100 in a mixing vessel until a homogeneous liquid is obtained. While mixing, add M32 fillers (1 kg of M32 for each 2 kg of mixed SEMPOL F100) and keep mixing for another 3 minutes. Application by trowel and rake of a layer of above mixture, consumption 3 kg/sqm for a thickness of 2 mm. Broadcasting of M32 or RZ Quartz into the wet mixture to get an antiskid surface (optional), consumption 3 kg/sqm, (overnight curing). Fourth Phase: If M32 or RZ quartz has been broadcasted, the excedent quartz is to be removed by sweeping or vacuum. Mixing of components A and B of SEMPOL F100 in a mixing vessel until a homogeneous liquid is obtained. Application by paint roller of the mixture, consumption 250 to 300 gr/sqm.
