1. System Requirements

3.Overview
Plug the USB Skype phone into any standard USB interface. Install the Skype software and the software drivers, and start making free VOIP calls over the Skype network. Calling to land-lines may cost extra, see www.skype.com for details.
4. Installation Instructions
1. To use Skype, you must first have a Skype account. Visit www.skype.com to set up a new account, or use the enclosed software to set up a new Skype account. If you already have an account, skip this step. 2. Insert the enclosed CD. If you have autostart enabled, the installation software will automatically begin. If not, browse to your CD drive, and double-click on "SkypeSetup.exe." Click the button marked "USB PHONE-Tool" Alternatively, you can run the file directly from the CD by double-clicking on the executable. If you have installed Skype, you should see a dialog like the one below:

If you would like to allow the wired Skype phone to always have access to Skype, click the top radio button and press OK. If you want to use it for just this session, click the second radio button, and press OK. If you want to bail out entirely, click the third radio button and press OK.
5. Dialing a Phone Number
To dial a regular phone number, use the handset's keypad and press: "00" + "national code" + "district number" + "telephone number" then press "dial key" ( ). For example, to call ThinkGeek, you would dial "00" + "1" + "703" + "293-6399" and press the dial key. To dial a number in your Skype contact list, click the Contact shoulder button (the topright most button on the handset's base that looks like 3 dots (…)). This brings up your contacts list. Scroll down through the list by flicking the up/down control ( ). Press the Dial shoulder button (the top-left most button on the handset's base that looks like 3 dots (…)) to dial the number. Alternatively, you can press the green dial button ( ) to connect.
