Ray Andrae Another year gone by and it's time again for the annual Military Science Department Hall of Honor. I look forward to this time every year as we take time to recognize outstanding alumni of the Corps of Cadets. This year is no different as we recognize Robert Irish and Tom Schneider. They both used the leadership skills learned from the Corps of Cadets, and the educational skills learned at UTA to go on to successful careers in business and the military. I hope that many of you will be able to attend the festivities this year. They kick-off Friday night, February 15, with the annual CCAC dinner. Come and meet old friends and make new ones. Learn what is going on in the Cadet Corps Alumni Council and how well the Corps of Cadets is doing. I know I am extremely proud of the cadre and cadets that make up the Corps of Cadets at UTA.

2LT Austin D. Bass is the son of Debbie Scifres and Bob Bass, from Justin, Texas. 2LT Bass will graduate with a B.A. in Criminal Justice from UTA. He is branched Infantry and will be attending Officer Basic Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. 2LT Brandi Carlton is the daughter of Mike Purswell and Jeanna Bumpas, from Huffman, Texas. 2LT Carlton will graduate with a B.A. in Communication Technology from UTA. She is branched Ordnance and will be attending Officer Basic Course at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. 2LT Kyle Jons is the son of Dana and CPT (R) George Jons, Jr., from New Hampton, Iowa. 2LT Jons will graduate with a B.A. in History from UTA.
