An automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely
retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders. RFID tags can be attached to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification using radio waves. Technology has been developed since World War II. gy p The main driving force is Wal-Mart, which demanded its top 100 suppliers to apply RFID labels to all shipments starting Jan.2005.
