lobal Spectrum's corporate management and all of the Global Spectrum-managed venues throughout North America have made a commitment to seek and implement new methods and systems for conserving energy and recycling materials whenever possible. Global Spectrum's commitment of Going Green not only makes sense from a company perspective, but it also benefits the best interest of clients and customers.

"It's becoming more and more imperative that facilities, such as the ones we manage, become energy conscious," said John Page, Global Spectrum Chief Operating Officer. "Global Spectrum is committed to Going Green and protecting our environment." The Globe is pleased to highlight a representative group of Global Spectrum-managed venues that have given themselves the green light to start implementing a Going Green program. Many of the other venues are in the process of developing their plans with implementation soon to begin.

University Of Phoenix Stadium Prepares For Super Bowl XLII, Global Spectrum Staff Ready

s nearly 125,000 people descend upon Glendale, AZ, for the biggest sporting event in the world, Super Bowl XLII, all eyes will be on the University of Phoenix Stadium and its Global Spectrum staff. The facility was recently named the "Best Stadium in the NFL" in a Sports Business Journal reader's poll. Employees plan to enhance its image as the NFL's unique multi-purpose facility. "University of Phoenix Stadium is an amazing piece of architecture. I don't think that any of the new stadiums coming online will approach the unique
design utilized at University of Phoenix Stadium. Glendale should be very proud to have this stadium in their community," said Frank Supovitz, Vice President of Events for the NFL. The Global Spectrum staff at University of Phoenix Stadium has been working for the last year and a half preparing for the game, with meetings and planning picking up considerably in the last three months.
