1. The Committee on Legal Issues and International Labour Standards (LILS Committee) met
on 19 and 20 March 2003. Its officers were as follows: Chairperson: Employer Vice-Chairperson: Worker Vice-Chairperson: Mr. G. Corres (Government, Argentina) Mr. B. Boisson Mr. U. Edstrm
2. In order to facilitate the work of the Committee, the Chairperson proposed to treat the two
items requiring concrete decisions first before proceeding with the preliminary discussion of the remaining items.
