A shared responsibility for a safer community
This set of guidelines offers simple and practical advice for staff responding to inappropriate, concerning and threatening behaviour and stresses the importance of discussing such behaviour with appropriate University staff. A community that provides a physically and psychologically safe teaching and learning environment is the responsibility of all participants. Therefore all staff, students, contractors and visitors have a responsibility to contribute to a safe University environment that does not interfere with or impede the ability of others to carry out their study, research or work.
